  • October remains snow-free in many regions and is the height of the surfing season on the Pacific coast.

  • May is often relatively warm but snow can still linger at higher altitudes, especially in the Rocky Mountains.

High Season: June to August
  • Sunny weather, snow-free landscapes, and long hours of daylight as well as foreign tourists and huge domestic crowds is to be expected, therefore higher price, busier facilities and more limited availability.

Low Season: November to April
  • Days are dark and temperatures are extremely cold.
